SID: You’re at a conference in prayer and 2008 at IHOP. You’re in a prayer there and suddenly did you … When did you realize you were in hell? Tell me what happened.

LAURIE: We were in evangelism meeting. I was worshiping in the back with my eyes closed. And then as soon as the heat came in the room, I watched, I opened my eyes. I knew something was happening. I opened my eyes, the front of the room opened like this, Sid, and hell was right there. And an arm without fingers came flying out of hell, and it grabbed ahold of my spirit and it sucked me in. Those held doors are thick, and they’re heavy, and when they slam shut, I knew exactly where I was immediately.

LAURIE: Three things were spoken over me. You are in hell eternally for unforgiveness. The worst regret you can ever imagine was right then, because there’s no way out. I knew that, there was no way out of hell.

SID: Tell our audience what you observed.

LAURIE: First, I want to say there’s no way that I will ever be guilty of exaggerating hell. There are not enough—

SID: Why would you not exaggerate?

LAURIE: It’s worse than any words that I can come up with. When I got there, just the heat, the extreme heat started causing my skin to drip off of me. The sound of the people screaming broke my eardrums and caused such a pain inside of me and I knew this was going to go on eternally. There was no way out of it. My bones, my body twisted in so many ways, breaking. I felt my back break.

SID: Did you feel pain in hell?

LAURIE: Excruciating pain. There is not one drop of relief, there’s not a drop of water, there’s not a drop of light. You can never get to another human being to share that pain. You actually become sin. You start looking like this growth. You actually lose the formation of a human being because I’m made in the image of God and that changed there. It’s horrific. It’s horrific. I never want to go back.

LAURIE: Imagine trying to live your life with no God. I was never going to touch my grand baby’s face again. Even arguing with my husband, not that that’s cool, but you were never going to get to do any of that. You were never going to get to say you were sorry, you were never going to fix anything. To always be in pain and to know that it kept ramping up and it was going to keep getting worse and worse and worse. That was never going to end. That was the thing. It wasn’t like you could reach a pinnacle.

LAURIE: In hell, it worked the same as in heaven, my full brain operated, and I knew all of Matthew 18, I knew every scripture that I’d ever read, and I’d read the whole Bible. I knew every scripture that I’ve ever read and it made complete sense and it was completely righteous that I was in hell, and I became hate. I hated and I continued to hate. There were people there. They were just like me, they believed Jesus is the Lord God, but they refused to obey Him. They say, “We love you, we love you.” But the Scriptures teach, if you love me, then obey me, and I wouldn’t. And I wouldn’t forgive.

LAURIE: It was the worst thing to know that in heaven Jesus had been so patient and He was willing to forgive me everything, everything, and I couldn’t forgive small offenses? In my life, it felt like these things had broken me. But in reality, to everything that the Lord had forgiven me of, Sid, they were small.

SID: How did you get out of hell?

LAURIE: As quickly as I went into hell, these doors opened, and something brought me out so fast. I reentered the room, I was screaming. My friend who was running the meeting, he came to the back because I was so disruptive. He started shaking me.

SID: This was at the IHOP?

LAURIE: Yeah, he’s here. My good friend,

he was there and he was shaking me, asking me, “What’s wrong, what’s wrong, what’s wrong?” And I said to him, “I’ve been to hell.” Everything changed in that minute. As transforming as it was to go to heaven and meet Jesus Christ, that transformation does not compare to the transformation of having been to hell.

SID: When we come back, I’m going to have her share the biggest lies that Christians believe that will cause them to not make heaven. Be right back.

SID: My guest has a passion. Her passion is to help you encounter experientially God. That is normal. The other is just religion. Now, your background, both parents were addicts, but your dad was the supplier, at least that’s how your mom met him. When you were born, you were born with convulsions and withdrawals because you were born an addict.

JENNY: Right.

SID: Your mom, maybe she felt a little responsible and she wanted help. She wanted to know God was real and what did she do?

JENNY: She cried out to God. She said there was a song playing and it was by The Carpenter’s and it was the song (singing) and she said she heard that song, she cried out to God, “God if you’re real, give me a sign.” She heard the song, a bird appeared at the window and right then that was her sign that God was real and she said she felt the presence of God come into the room. The withdrawals left her immediately. I was okay so she didn’t have to go through days and days and weeks of withdrawals. Immediately the withdrawals left and she gave her life to Jesus and she’s served him ever since.

SID: Her mom was strong, but her dad wasn’t a believe but about a year later, he too became a believer, but the draw, the world was too much and they got divorced when you were 13. But then high school. She was bullied. You reached out toward things that were the opposite of the way you were raised. What happened?

JENNY: I got into cutting. I began to cut my wrist just to in my mind, I thought it was relieving the pain. That opened the door to witchcraft. I watched a movie with friends. A movie that came out about witches. It was very popular and I wanted to be that. So, I got into witchcraft and we began to gather around and do spells and incantations.

JENNY: That opened up many other doors. I began to experiment with drugs and then once I opened that door to drugs, I lost all logic and I was just out there acting crazy. I ended up dropping out of high school. I got kicked out of my home. That’s when I ended up living on the streets by myself with the backpack at 17 years old. I was just grabbing for anything to fill that void and I ended up turning to lesbianism.

SID: So, then history repeats. That’s actually what happened to her. She got married. Married a drug dealer and you were on drugs.

SID: He was on drugs and then you have your birth of your daughter and your daughter has the same future you had from the viewpoint of just she’s addicted now.

JENNY: Right.

SID: Tell me what happened.

JENNY: Actually, when I got pregnant, I was still using. So, I knew I needed to get off drugs because I have a baby, but the addiction was so strong. The demonic realm and hold on my life was so strong. Logic was out the window. So, I still used. Actually before she was born I cried out to God. She wasn’t born—

SID: When you say cried out, that wasn’t just a little, oh help.

SID: It was ever fiber in your being.

JENNY: I screamed it at the top of my lungs. I said three words.

SID: I want you to say it the way-

JENNY: I said, “God help me!”

SID: When we come back, we’ll find out how God answered.

SID: John, tell me just one life experience that had quite an impact on the person and on you.

JOHN: One man I interviewed was an atheist college professor who was taking a group of students on a tour of museums in Paris. His lower duodenum ruptured. Usually within five hours, you die. There was no surgeon on call in the hospital. After nine hours he was in the most pain he’s ever been in. He passed. But what he finds is that he’s standing beside the bed. He thought when you die it’s like unplug the computer, lights out. But he found himself standing by the bedside and felt more alive than he’d ever felt before. He felt great. One minute he feels the worst he’s ever felt, then he feels great. Now, here’s what’s fascinating. You know, time and space and distance work different on the other side. He’s confused. He thinks he’s still alive and he’s trying to get his wife’s attention, but of course he can’t.

SID: Right.

JOHN: Well, a group of people are standing in the hallway of the hospital. They can’t quite see him and they say, “Howard, come with us.” He thinks they’re the hospital staff taking him to get surgery finally. He follows them and, to make a long story short, I write the full thing in “Imagine Heaven,” but they lead him to an outer darkness, just like what Jesus talked about. He starts to realize, “They’re deceiving me.” He tries to go back and they turn and they maul him. He said he was laying there and he doesn’t know if it was an eternity or how long thinking about his life. He had not been a good man. He had committed adultery on his wife, he had been self-centered, all these things, and he realized, “I deserve this.”

In that moment, a song came into his mind from when a neighbor had taken him to church as a kid. “Jesus Loves Me,” couldn’t even remember the rest of the tune. Something inside of him just cried out, “Enough! Jesus, if you’re real, save me!” A pinpoint of life begins and comes into this darkness, ends up this brilliance, brighter than the sun. Hands reach out, pick him up, and hold him as he sobs like a baby realizing, “This man I have cursed my whole life is real,” and there in the presence of angels gives Howard a life review.

One more thing. Howard, after that life review, comes back after two years, leaves his tenured college professorship, becomes a pastor. His wife’s still an atheist. She divorces him but he’s been a pastor ever since. Truly, I mean, a Damascus road.

SID: He had this life review. We’re going back to that. What is a life review?

JOHN: Yeah, this is another commonality, that in the presence of Jesus, He replays their lives for them. Now, what’s interesting is it’s like a panoramic revisiting your life, but from the perspective not only of yourself, but the people you interact with. What’s interesting, like Howard said to Jesus, “You’re skipping the most important part of my life, when I got this great award for Artist of the Year and Professor of the Year,” and Jesus said, “That’s not what’s important. I want to show you the students.” He showed him how he interacted with the students and what was going on in his mind and what was going on in the students’ hearts. He shows us how our inner actions, he shows us what Jesus said. Even when you give a little cup of cold water to a child, it matters. Every act of kindness ripples throughout humanity. But our negative things ripple throughout humanity, as well. You know, one of the things that confounds me, quite honestly, is that some come back in the presence of this God of love they never want to leave, but they don’t seek Him.

SID: That’s hard–

JOHN: But other comes back and they seek Him and they discover He’s Jesus and they give their hearts to Him. In the latter chapters of “Imagine Heaven,” I talk about rewards in Heaven because I think it is so misunderstood. You know, even that life review, that is not judgment. It’s just what Jesus said, that there’s no motive or thought or deed that won’t be laid bare. But that should not scare us, He already sees everything. It’s all laid bare right now. We think we can hide from God. We can’t hide from God. We’re only hiding from ourselves. But here’s the thing, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, and He wants us to know that now.

SID: You know what? You have said enough. You should give your life to God right now. That’s what you should do. As of now, live for Heaven and bring Heaven on Earth.

JOHN: Absolutely.

SID: So Sandy’s mother finds a letter, confronts Sandy, “Do you believe in Jesus?” And literally packs his bags, kicks him out of the house. Sandy now goes for consolation to his girlfriend. His girlfriends says, “Oh, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m going to get filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues. Come on!” What did you think?

SANDY: I thought she was a little nuts. I just wanted her to just say, “Oh, Sandy. Oh, bubby. It’s okay.” So next thing you know, we’re on our way to church and another one of these churches, and another culture shock experience. We go into the church, and we’re sitting there, and the offering plate came around. I take a $50 bill, and I throw it in the offering plate, and prayed the Martyr’s Prayer. “Oh God, take everything.” Like 50 bucks is everything, right?

SANDY: She’s seeking the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I don’t have the slightest idea what’s she’s talking about. At the end of the service, people are going forward. I figure that’s where the action, that’s where the Gentiles go. They must go up front, and something is happening up there.

Therefore, we ask for more, dear Lord.

 [foreign language]

SANDY: And so I go and I make kind of make my way up front, and this guy reaches out, and he grabs my arm, and he says to me, “Everything is going to be okay with your mother.”

SANDY: Well, I’m thinking, “Did you talk to her?” How did he possibly even know?” Then this other guy comes up to me, and he goes, “Brother, do you want the power of God in your life?”

SANDY: I figured, already cost me 50 bucks, why not? He put his hands on me, and then I just fell out. I just fell on the floor.

SID: What do you mean you fell out?

SANDY: It’s like I just kind of went, my legs went out from under me, and I’m laying on the floor. And it’s like my mind came out and said, “Get off the floor. Get off the floor.” But it was probably about an hour later before I got off the floor.

SANDY: That was the beginning of what I think because I was speaking a language that I had never studied. That was something that happened when I was there. Of course, I’ve thought, “Oh my gosh. I don’t want anybody to know what happened to me here.” But that was the beginning of something that absolutely changed my life.

SID: Okay, he marries his girlfriend and a year later he’s speaking before 10,000 people at America for Jesus, but, that’s supernatural but something even more supernatural happened.

SANDY: Well, I had started speaking at Full Gospel Business Men’s. Somebody had heard me. They’d asked me to speak at an America for Jesus rally. It was at Penn State Field House. There were just thousands and thousands of people there. I was not an accomplished speaker, but I just spoke on “Who’s going to be on the Lord’s side?”

SANDY: My father came. My mother came. My grandmother came.

SID: Why did they come?

SANDY: Because my father wanted to hear me speak before he died, and my mother and grandmother were there to support my father and to see what was going on.

SID: Because he was dying.

SANDY: He was dying. I’m on the stage, and this happened to me for the only time in my entire life. I’ve never had this happen before, and never had it happen since. It was like somebody was speaking behind me and said, “Go down. Lay hands upon your father. I’m going to heal him tonight.”

SID: Now your father had terminal cancer?

SANDY: He was only given a few months to live. He was a big guy, ex-Marine, a Carlson Raider. He was six-foot-four, big guy, wasted away. He was wasting away to nothing. Again, that voice spoke. In fact, it disrupted me. I wanted to look behind me to see if somebody was saying that. At the end of the service, I mean, there were just thousands of people that came forward to be prayed for. It was just an amazing thing. I walked down through that crowd and went up to my dad, and I said, “Dad,” I said, “Jesus wants to heal you tonight.”

SANDY: My father bowed his head, and he closed his eyes. Of course, then the service kind of went on. That was on a Saturday night. On Monday, my mother calls me. She’s just crying. I’m thinking, “Oh my gosh, I wonder if my dad died.” She’s not even able to talk. Finally, she talks, she says, “They want to keep your father another couple days. They can’t find a trace of the Hodgkin’s disease in his body.

SID: I’ll tell you what. He got something more than the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or being filled with the Holy Spirit. He starts a Bible study. I mean, you’re a young believer, you start a Bible study with 10. It’s a good Jewish number. It’s called a minyan. You start with 10, and in one year you have 2,400 people attending this study because miracles start following him. Tell me a couple miracles that were going on in this study.

SANDY: Oh, there were just some just amazing things. There were so many people that were healed from cancer, and so many people that were healed of visible things. I’ll never forget, I had this little baby in my hands, and the legs were deformed. They were going to break the legs at the knees, and put them in casts, so that the legs would be straight. They had a way of doing that. Little single mom, she didn’t have anybody. She’s crying. I’m holding the baby in my hands, and the baby starts to wiggle and move, and in front of our eyes, the legs went like this.

SANDY: It was a Catholic Bible study. I had partnered with a priest, Father Shore, it was called the Shield of Faith. It grew, it grew. We kept on outgrowing buildings, but there were miracles. Every, every meeting that we had there were miracles. There were words of knowledge. There were things that happened.

SID: Sandy, your passion isn’t as much this DISC personality, although that’s your business, but you have pioneered a test that shows, gives you revelation into how to accomplish your destiny with God. People that take this test, their gifting just increases.

SID: In fact, you told me you were on a board of Teen Challenge, and you have all these young kids that are recovering from drug addiction, et cetera, take this test. It’s life changing for them. But then people my age take this test, and it’s life changing for them. Be right back.

Sid Roth on April 7th, 2019

SID: You know, I have to tell you, I am absolutely in awe, as anybody that is about ready to see what we’re going to show you. But what really and truly does this incredible Israeli harvest, what does it really mean? Here’s what it really means. Jesus is coming back soon.

SID: Now, let’s look at scripture, so I can show you step by step why I say what I say. Romans 11:25 is the key scripture, “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery.” You know, he doesn’t want believers ignorant or it’s a mystery. He wants us to know. It’s okay for those that aren’t believers not to know, but it is not okay for believers for it to be a mystery. “I don’t desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery. Blindness in part has happened to Israel.” What does that mean? There have been Jewish believers in every generation, so blindness in part, not total blindness. “Blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.”

SID: Now I want to reverse this and see if it gives you a little better understanding. When the age of the Gentiles is at its fullness, the spiritual scales will come off of the eyes of Jewish people.

SID: I maintain the age of the Gentiles is at its fullness, because the spiritual scales are coming off the eyes of Jewish people. Hosea 3:5 explains this, “But afterwards …” What is afterwards? You see, we Jewish people, we’re under a curse, because as you know we were deported to Babylon for sin, and a curse has a set period, of time. When this curse is over, this is what Hosea is talking about. “But afterwards the curse,” of what? Blindness. “But afterwards,” the curse of blindness, “The people will return and devote themselves to the Lord their God, and to David’s descendant.” Who’s David’s descendant? The Messiah. “And to David’s descendant, their king, and in the last days they will tremble in awe of the Lord and of His goodness.”

SID: You know what? Most believers have to understand those two words.

SID: Tremble in awe before the Lord and His goodness. Most people are specialists in the bad going on, but we’re supposed to look on the goodness of God.

SID: We kind of miss this, and I have to tell you this, when I prayed, and you’ll see some of this, when I prayed for these brand new Jewish believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit and fire, no orientation, no grid to understand, their hands were trembling as …

SID: By the way, I told them what the scripture says, lift holy hands to God. Their hands were trembling from the fire of the Holy Spirit.

SID: Now, the lecture in Israel I call a lecture on the supernatural, and there was something different.

SID: It was different. I’ll give you an example. First person I met was the porter at the airport helping us with the luggage. He only goes to the end of the … where, as you exit the airport, he doesn’t take you out. I started sharing about the Messiah. He had never heard what I was telling him before. He was so excited he walked me out of the airport. He wasn’t supposed to, but this is what he said when we left. He said, “You promise someone that knows the same things you know, that lives in Israel will call me. You promise that,” and he gave me his number. I’ve never had this happen before.

SID: There’s something different …

SID: … in the atmosphere in Israel. Now, one of my guests on, It’s Supernatural is an amazing man that operates in miracles, a former Catholic priest. His name is Dr. Francis Sizer, and he gave me this word, “And so it shall be unfolded to you, my faithful son, as I have told you in secret. The times of my people is near upon you. Can’t you see it? Can’t you taste it? I’m opening the door of the nation Israel to be flooded by the angels of heaven now. Stories will begin to pour from throughout Judea and Samaria. Messiah will appear supernaturally to many. At first, a stream of miracles ankle deep from the temple of God in heaven. Then a river of miracles waist deep. Nothing can withstand what I have put in motion. Nothing can reverse my commanded blessing, says the Lord of Hosts.”

SID: This is what we’re seeing right now. Now, first sign, spiritual scales off the Jewish eyes. Second sign, according to Isaiah chapter 60, verse 1 and 3, this is what is also about ready to happen in Israel, “Arise Jerusalem. Let your light shine for all to see.”

SID: “For the glory of the Lord rises to shine upon you. Darkness as black as night covers all the nations on earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. All nations will come to your light. Mighty kings will come to see your radiance.” We are going to see the assignment of the Jewish people picked up again. Here’s the assignment. Most don’t know this. Did you know this is the only nation in the world that God gives this one, particular assignment to? Listen to this. Isaiah 61:6 says, “Israel will be a nation of priests.”

SID: You think about that. Most people miss that. Israel will be a nation of priests. Now, the priesthood stopped for a season due to the judgment, but the judgment is over.

SID: What is the call of the Jew? The call of the Jew, and it’s never, gifts and calling of God are without repentance …

… remember? The call of the Jew is John 4:22, “Salvation is of the Jews.”

SID: The call of the Jew is to be a nation of priests, to evangelize the four corners of the earth, and then the one new man comes in. The Jew joins arm with the Gentile believer, and that one new man, which actually, if you really … The better translation from the Greek from Ephesians is the one new humanity.

SID: Devil’s worst nightmare. The Jew and Gentile become one in Messiah.

SID: Now, would you like to see the glory come on 1,000 unsaved Jewish people in Israel …

SID: … and 400, remember, unsaved Jews before they accept the Lord, 400 instantly healed? Now, many of you, when I speak these words of knowledge to these Israelis, you know there’s something powerful about a word of knowledge. It comes from a zone where there’s no time, and if it comes from a zone where there’s no time, it’ll operate as much for you at home, and you here, as it did in Israel! Be right back.
