JOHN: If I don’t listen to the wisdom that comes out of her mouth. No, I have made some stupid mistakes because I’m not listening to the wisdom. Now I will say there’s been like one or two times over our marriage that I realized she was coming out of a position of fear and I realized I was speaking out of a position of vision. And as a leader I said you know what? I really believe we’re supposed to do this as a family. It proved right
LISA: Uh huh.
JOHN: But most of the time when I didn’t listen to my wife I ended up paying for it and our family paid for it.
SID: I’ll tell you what. Our time is slipping away. But I can’t wait to get The Story of Marriage. You know why? It’s your story! Do you know why? It’s not finished yet! Do you know why? LISA: You know I just want to encourage every single person out there to dream again. I want you to believe that you can begin all over again. You know God doesn’t say He’s taking something old and remaking it or reupholstering it. He promises us in the Book of Revelation, He said Behold I am making all things new! I believe that God can give you, new love! I believe He can give you new perspective! I believe He can give you, new hope! I believe that The Story of Marriage is going to give you, new tools! I believe He’s going to give you, new conversations and new dreams! And I just want to bless your marriage with hope and power and vision and dreams. And if you’re single and you’re saying you know I want to get married but I can’t find anybody, you need to know who you are in Christ first and this is going to give you a great perspective. And if you’re out there and you’re divorced I would just say to you, you know what? Divorce is something that has happened, it’s not something that you are. You’re now single and you have a chance to begin again as well. So I would just pray hope and strength
SID: And something more!
LISA: and life and faith for you!
SID: The presence of God is coming upon you!
LISA: Something more!
SID: You’re being showered right now with the presence of God!

JOHN: Let me finish, Sid. Let me finish, Sid. But let me say this. And I want you to keep your question but I want to say this. The thing that kept me from getting to become a better husband for Lisa was I kept feeling that the problem was hers when in reality it was blinding me to the problem was mine. Go ahead. What were you going to say?
SID: Okay. What about the person that’s been married for 30 years. Chronic problems. And they’re almost living separate lives. But everyone thinks they’re happily married. Is there hope for a couple that are both Christians. Is there hope for a couple like that?
JOHN: I think that couple need to
LISA: Absolutely.
JOHN: ask themselves a question. And the answer is absolutely. But they have to ask themselves a question. Right now their effectiveness in life, fruitfulness, ministry, everything is hampered because when there is friction between a husband and a wife their ability to be fruitful in this life is hampered. And I’m talking about the real fruitfulness. The kind of fruitfulness that endures. And so they have to ask themselves do I want to be right or do I want to be fruitful? Do I want to be right or do I want to have peace? And God has called us to peace. God has called us to be fruitful. That IS what God wants. So the thing that we’ve got to choose is okay. How do we start building? And I know that with Lisa. Lisa said it was you know God saying I’m enough for you. But with me I was so angry at Lisa that I went out and I just said God, I just, I see no hope. I see never an ability to reconcile. We are just so angry at each other. And the Lord, I’ll never forget this. He said I want you to tell I want you to name one thing that you’re thankful for, for Lisa. And I remember thinking okay. She’s, she’s a good mom. And then all of sudden what came up in my spirit was and she’s a good cook. And then what came up in my spirit was and, and she’s, she’s really tender-hearted and then, and then it just kept all of a sudden it was like a dam broke or something in the inside of me and I started going oh my gosh, and she’s this and I thank you that she’s that and I thank you for this. And I thought you are such a jerk! And I remember going back and looking at her and saying I have been so blinded. I’ve been so wrong. And so yeah, you may think there’s absolutely no hope that all the problems with your spouse. But I’m going to tell you something. When you allow God to open up your eyes because if God loves us when were hideous sinners and still His enemies. That means there is a love of God in you if you call Jesus Christ your Lord that you can love somebody who’s very unlovely. And if you love somebody that’s totally unlovely just like the love of Jesus won you over when you were an enemy and hideous, the love of Jesus can win that spouse over.
SID: I’ll tell you what.
LISA: And I want to speak
SID: Wait a second Lisa.
LISA: Yeah. Sure.

JENNIFER: That belonged to Jesus but the rest of me had to be dealt with! All the covenants, all the agreements, all the things that I had dived in to. And so I had to suffer that. I had to verbally renounce and repent of it and I had to take authority over it! That was basically the story. But what was birthed in that was prayer! Was intercession because when you’re desperate you learn to reach out to God in ways that you wouldn’t normally reach out to Him!
ROY: Sure!
JENNIFER: And you find pathways in God. You find communication in God! You find spiritual authority in the Lord which you wouldn’t find any other way!
ROY: Uh-huh.
JENNIFER: And I believe that intercessors are often birthed in desperation! They’re birthed out of desperate times! They’re birthed out of desperate situations and that’s where you see a real intercessor birthed. The one who has found authority in prayer and now they’re sold on it and they’re not going to go back!
ROY: Walk me through kind of how you took authority over this thing. What were some of the things that you prayed? What did you say?
JENNIFER: Honestly because I was untaught you know it was very – almost like an infant, like a child! You know Lord deliver me! Set me free! Help me out of this! All the things you would pray as somebody who didn’t really know what to do and I literally didn’t know what to do! And in God’s mercy, I believe it was God’s mercy, the Holy Spirit – there was a point in that window of time, that moment of time where the Holy Spirit it felt like He rose up in me!
ROY: Mmm!
JENNIFER: And we spoke to that spirit! I will not serve you!
ROY: Yeah!
JENNIFER: And that’s really what needed to happen and the line was drawn with that spirit as well as in the spirit realm who I serve and who I don’t serve!
ROY: You kind of remind me a little bit of my own mother that when I was around 2 years of age my mom was single and she said that she had these kind of dark things that would come over my crib and she rose up and she would say you leave my son alone!
JENNIFER: Yeah!
ROY: It’s interesting how the Holy Spirit gives us that.
JENNIFER: Yeah!
ROY: Where in you, you said I know what to do in this situation even though you’re going through it.
JENNIFER: Yeah.
ROY: That’s kind of God’s hand on your life for sure!
JENNIFER: Uh-huh!
ROY: And He called you into intercessory ministry. He’s called you into a prophetic ministry.
JENNIFER: Right.
ROY: Where are you at today? Where’s your ministry today? What’s God using you in?
JENNIFER: Well now I’m on the training side because I’ve gone through the fires.
ROY: Sure.
JENNIFER: I have a track record.
ROY: Yeah.
JENNIFER: I have a history. I have a teaching and a protocol.
ROY: Yeah.
JENNIFER: And now you know I release intercessors. I train intercessors. I train prophetic people. But we have that deliverance edge to us. We’re not fixated on demons but at the same time they’re there. We’re dealing with them.
ROY: Sure.
JENNIFER: It’s part of our mandate. You will cast out demons!
ROY: That’s right!

KAREN: That are being trained, in ministry!
LAURA: That’s amazing!
KAREN: But also real-life hands-on experience! Because book knowledge is great.
LAURA: Yeah, sure!
KAREN: But you have to be able to have experience and to see how to operate and to move and to see a family that is living in integrity at all times regardless of whether they’re on the stage, or whether they’re not on stage.
LAURA: Uh-huh. That’s revival!
KAREN: Yes!
LAURA: You know when revival comes and we want to see healed bodies but I love to see healed marriages. Being healed emotionally.
KAREN: That’s right.
LAURA: And one of the things that you deal with is how to get healed emotionally! So I want to come back to the school in just a moment but tell me about that part. Because it is so important that when you teach others that you don’t just teach them about the topic.
KAREN: That’s right.
LAURA: Like I said there are many evangelists out there but it appears to me that out of the five-fold ministry you’re not just an evangelist. You’re a teaching evangelist!
KAREN: Yes. Yes.
LAURA: And so tell me how you teach others to become free and cleansed emotionally.
KAREN: Well because I live through experience and I’ve walked through some difficult times in my life. I’ve walked through some insecurities. I’ve walked, through fear. I’ve walked through feeling worthless. I’ve walked through not feeling like I had a voice or having a purpose. And it was only through the presence of God that I was able to overcome those things! And what I like to share with people and that is what the message of hope, the message of victory, the message of overcoming ñ
LAURA: Yes, that does it!
KAREN: Is what I share on so many times at women’s conferences and different events because I want them to know that what you walk through is a good indication of who you’re called to! That God has brought you to place that if He has walked you through something in your life, then He has allowed you to have the victory so that you can go and then rescue other people.
LAURA: That’s right! That’s right!
KAREN: That are walking through those same things! So many times we look through a microscope at our lives.
LAURA: Uh-huh.
KAREN: At the little details and the little things that bother us!
LAURA: Yeah!
KAREN: When God’s called us to look through a telescope.
LAURA: [laughs]
KAREN: So that we can see the bigger picture!
LAURA: I like that!
KAREN: And not just about us. Everything’s not about us.
LAURA: I like that!
KAREN: It’s about those who we are called to reach and rescue!
LAURA: Well and we tend to major in our minor!
KAREN: That’s right.
LAURA: Which is bad as well. So I want to just pull this out of you and just kinda camp there for just a minute. I am stunned sitting here talking to you and you’re so composed and you’re so secure and somebody watching just heard you say that. That you’ve come through fear and insecurity.
KAREN: That’s right.
LAURA: Tell us a little bit about why and then talk to them about maybe why they are stuck there and how you got out.
KAREN: Well all through my younger life I could not even stand on a stage.
LAURA: [laughing]

BILL: So you can generate, Jude says build up your most holy faith by praying in tongues. It downloads and uploads. It activates all of the gifts of the Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, it was sent to any spiritual activity or work, your spirit language is the activator. But if you don’t know how to do it – now in electrical – they have transformers that take that electric output from millions of volts, to thousands, to hundreds, until it gets to your house at 220 or 120 right. Then you have breakers in your house, or you have fuses. You could have all that power come in, but if a fuse is blown then the lights go off and then – a fuse broken, a fuse blown is fear, fear, fear. Breaker broken out is unbelief, but you can change fuses. You can change your unbelief and fear into faith and confidence. Amen. And the light comes back on and the power starts working. So it doesn’t do any good to generate all of that electricity, all that power, if you’re not openly connected. Amen. So I encourage people on that. Psychiatrists checked that out, speaking in tongues, and after checking out 100 saints and himself analyzing it he said, If I can get saints, my customers, to pray thirty minutes in tongues, for thirty days, they wouldn’t need me anymore. You got your own psychiatrist. You don’t have to go crazy or have a nervous breakdown. Amen. Hallelujah.

BILL: I won’t ask how many has been to a psychiatrist but what they do is they ask you questions, they pull up some trauma, something that you went through, then they give you the truth on the matter and then set you free. Jesus said you know the truth and the truth will set you free. Well this psychiatrist said that’s what praying in tongues does. It prays from your subconscious or your spirit, and it prays out those traumas that you’ve forgotten, opens up those doors you’ve shut too, and pulls it out. A good illustration is that when I was raised in Oklahoma, we used to go hunting with our old dogs over by the 200 acre place but we didn’t take any water with us because we knew of this little spring of water there that would pour out a gallon of water about every minute, so we went for it. These dumb dogs would get there ahead of us and they’d jump in there with their feet, then the mud, and leaves and sticks and dog slobbers all over everything. We get there and we kick the dogs away, then we’d sit down and push those leaves and the dog slobbers and everything. The water is coming from the inside of the Earth, and it keeps flowing and flowing. Pretty soon there’s no more muddy water, no more sticks, no hair, nothing but beautiful, clean, pure water. Then you stick your head down and drink. That’s what praying in tongues does for you. You start praying in tongues and it just washes it out. Amen. Hallelujah.
